Playgroup
Bursting with fun-filled activities, playgroups allow for the children adopted from China and their families to create a social network that will last a lifetime. Here, parents and children are given the opportunity to share their stories and experiences. Playgroups help to establish a sense of Chinese culture and identity for the children. Aside from being around other children with similar backgrounds, these adopted children also have the love and support of older peers.
We’re always looking for new creative ideas for the playgroups! Please contact us if you have an idea you’d like to contribute.
*Playgroups are held on every other Sunday at the Jewish Community Center on
7300 Hart Lane.

Big Brother Big Sister
China Care hosts a Big Brother Big Sister Program which encourages close companionship between a student volunteer and one of the adopted Chinese children. Outside of China Care's playgroups, they meet one-on-one and form a close bond through games, activities, and spending quality time together. To sign up for Texas China Care's Big Brother Big Sister Program, e-mail our Playgroup Directors: Shan He and Hoan Nguyen.
